Butzel, Abraham Srere and Henry Wineman of Detroit and Dr. William Haber, of Ann Arbor, were re-elected to the board of directors of the National Refugee Service at the annual meeting in New York on May 24. Theodore Levin and Isidore Sobeloff were elected new members of the board. The meeting was attended by 150 leaders in refugee aid activ- ity who heard reports on the contribution of refugees in the nation's war effort. EUROPEAN. WELFARE The European Jewish Women's Welfare Organization has decided to donate $200 to the Mt. Sinai Hospital building fund. Arrangements are being made for a tag day in Mt. Clemens on July 12. The organization will sponsor a banquet on Nov. 2, instead of a dance. A board meeting will be held Monday at the home of Mrs. S.
