GUEST EDITORIAL
Right Jobs in the War Effort
By HARVEY H. GOLDMAN
President, Jewish Vocational Service
Each of us must play his part in this great world
drama. Whether we are in Iceland, Australia, or on the
high seas, whether we are in the armed forces, or at a
bench or desk in a vital industry, each of
us has a task to perform.
There is a job for each one of us. The
way every job is filled today has an impor-
tant effect on the conduct of the war.
A person on the wrong job is wasting
manpower. The Jewish Vocational Service,
which is our liaison for the individual and
his job problems in relation to the world of
work, presents the following material, to
enable each of us—parents and children,
men and women, even boys and girls to de-
Mr. Goldman
termine how we best can serve our country.
What do we know about war jobs and our poten-
tial place in them? Where does each of us belong? The
following questions and answers are being presented by
the Jewish Vocational Service, now located at 5737 Sec-
ond Blvd.. so that you can get the facts on war jobs.
These answers represent the latest information as deter-
mined by careful check.
