ERE IS A LIST of courses, all vital to the
war effort, all available at the Jewish Com-
munity Center.
To date the Center has sponsored 12 classes in First
Aid ; 2 Production Units; 2 Fire Prevention Classes ;
1 Knitting Class; 3 Nutrition Classes; 2 classes in
Consumers' Problems; 1 Civilian Protection Class;
3 Victory Gardening Classes; 1 Home Crafts Class;
1 Morse Code Class; 3 . English and Citizenship
Classes
The Center serves as headquarters for the Jewish

Welfare Board Army and Navy Committee ; for the
Army and Navy Committee of the League of Detroit
Jewish Youth. Soldiers and sailors are given free use
of all building facilities.
The Center sells war stamps and bonds and serves
as a collection depot for books and magazines.
It is important that we at home supplement the na-
tion's armed forces in this war to survive. Train to do
your share. Please read, check, clip and mail the
