Women's Division in the 1941
and 1942 campaigns of the Chi-
cago Jewish Welfare Fund, is
not only a woman of charm and
an excellent public speaker, but
a woman, also, of unusual execu-
tive ability. She is the first wo-
man ever to be named chairman
of the Women's Division for two
successive years. She has thus
been responsible ,for the success
of this Division—and of setting
the all-time record of $300,000
raised by the women in one year.
Mrs. Heller possesses a thor-
ough knowledge of—and a deep
sympathy with—the work done
by beneficiaries of Jewish Wel-
fare Funds, angi devotes an enor-
mous amount of her time and
energies to the -task of guiding
much of this work into construc-
tive channels. Mrs. Heller is vice-
president of the national Jewish
Welfare Board; a member of the
national board of directors of the
USO; a leading member of the
advisory committee of the USO
in the Sixth Corps Area; presi-
dent of the Women's Council of
the Jewish People's Institute,

cago; and a member of the Exec-
