U.P.A. RETRAINS YOUTH FOR PALESTINE AGRICULTURE WITH U.J.A. FUNDS

RECONSTRUCTION GOES FORWARD.
A group of young German Jewish refugees,
rescued from Nazi persecution in Europe,
await permanent settlement in a colony.
The United Palestine Appeal must provide
land and equipment for the colonization
of many such young refugees who have
reached Palestine in recent months. The
resources for the program of the U.P.A.
are derived from the United Jewish Appeal
for Refugees, Overseas Needs and Pales-
tine, in which it is represented together
with the Joint -Distribution Committee and
the National Refugee Service. Photos de-

helped by the National Refugee Service, with national headquar-
ters in New York. Expatriates from foreign lands oome to the

NHS for financial aid, employment, retraining or resettlement.
