BIRTHS

Schubiner-Goldberg: The mar-
riage of Miss Rita June Goldberg,
daughter of Mrs. Anna Goldberg
and the late Max Goldberg, to Man-
uel M. Schubiner, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Samuel Schubiner, was sol-
emnized at the Book - Cadillac
Hotel, March 29. Rabbi B. Benedict
Glasier performed the marriage
service at 6 p. m. Dinner was served
to 250 guests_ Dancing followed.
Miss Goldberg was given in mar-
riage by her uncle, Barney Lach-
man. Her gown was ivory satin
and lace with a sweetheart neckline,
long sleeves and a torso-length fit-
ted bodice. Large medallions of
lace ornamented the hemline and
'the Ici_g train. A princess crown
of tiny seed pearls held the long
tulle veil. A colonial bouquet of
',freesia and orchids completed her
ensemble.
Mrs. Henry Turkel attended her
sister as matron-of-honor.
The seven bridesmaids were the
Misses Shirley Schubiner, Louise
Koffman, Zelda Lachman, Shirley
Leah Lachman, Leah Davidson,
Ida Lachman and Anita Lavin.
Evelyn Sally Litvin was flower
girl. Burton Slatkin acted as best
man, and Leon Cranis, Herbert
Aronstein, George Segal, Hyman
Goldman, Issy Goldberg, Dr. Philip
Lachman and Sheldon Lachman
were the ushers.
Mr. and Mrs. Schubiner will re-
side at 18112 Roselawn Ave. after
May 1.
