in you is couplets assurance of your success.
I hope you may have may years of fruitful work

Tonight Abe Simon, the Jew-
ish behemoth, gets his second
chance to wrest the heavyweight
crown from Joe Louis in a benefit
bout for the Army Relief Fund.,
In their last meeting, "Big Abe", 1
standing six feet three and weigh-I
ing 250 pounds, went 13 rounds
of a scheduled 20 rounder in De-
troit and gave a good account of
himself before Louis felled him
with that famous right cross.
When Simon enters the ring to-
night, he will be the second Jew-
ish fighter to appear on a charity
card for the men in seryice. If
you will remember, Max.' Baer's
little brother Buddy went to bat
for the boys and almost gave his
life for them, sport-ly speaking.
Louis gave "my little brudder"
a thorough pummelling for two
rounds of a scheduled 15 framer.
Buddy, incidentally, stands over six
feet four and weighs in well above
the 200 mark.
In his recent fights, Simon has
been showing a good left hook,
which he lacked in the Louis fight,
and may come through with a sur-
prise, although there is little
chance of his beating the heavy-
weight king. —D. It
