The annual congregational Seder
of Temple Beth El will be held on
the second evening of Passover,
Thursday, April 2, at 6:30, in the
social hall. The Seder meal will
be under the direction of the Tem-
ple Sisterhood. The ritual will be
condticted by Dr. B. Benedict
Glazer It will be Dr. Glazer's first
Seder at the Temple. The Seder
music will be directed by George
Galvani and Jason Tickton. The
children of the Religious School
will participate in the ritual and
songs and will be given special
Seder treats. Reservations will be
limited to members of the Temple.

funds for the establishment of a
Passover kitchen at Ann Arbor, to
serve meals to Jewish university
students during the entire eight
days of the festival.

chairman, issued an appeal to con-
gregations, sisterhoods and com-
munal organizations to make con-
tributions towards this fund. A

ready responded and others are

At the Victory luncheon of the
Youth Education League held on
Wednesday, March 25, at the Bel-
crest Hotel, Mrs. H. J. Millman,
president, commended the mem-
bers for their successful efforts in
exceeding the goal set for the
pledge fund drive. Special appre-
ciation was extended to Mesdames
R. Lewiston and H. Spector, co-

sented by Pisgah Lodge No. 34 of
Bnai Brith Monday evening at the
auditorium of the Jewish Corn-

ly at Columbus, 0. The team was
captained by Al Sklare and con-
sisted of Max Horwood, Charles
Rasner, Sam Hessen and Martin
Miller. S-am Sampson was awarded
the All Events Trophy. Ira Kauf-
man is president of the league.
