1 tablespoon gelatin.
1 cup sugar.
'1 cup of boiling water.
1 4 cup lemon juice.
3 egg whites (stiffly beaten).
3 bananas sliced.
Soften gelatin in cold water for five minutes. Dissolve in boil-
ing water. Add sugar, lemon juice, strain. Chill until slightly thick-
ened. Whip until frothy. Fold in egg whites. Arrange banana slices
in large mold or individual molds. Chill and unmold. Serves six
persons.
