This occasion will also be util- ized as a bon voyage party for the rabbi who is leaving to spend the summer in Israel. Rabbi Sperka came to the leadership of Bnai David in May, 1933. Rabbi Sperka received his B.A. in Chicago in 1931 and his M.A. in 1933 from the Univer- sity of Michigan. He studied at the Theological Seminary of Po- land and Chicago.
