Slates Installation, Seminars
Mrs. Saul Bloom, installation

troit Bnai Brith Women's Coun-

installation and seminars will be
held on Tuesday at the Book
Cadillac Hotel.
The seminar for presidents
and vice-presidents (chairman,
Rose Eisenberg and secretary,

nar for secretaries, treasurers,
and trustees (chairman, Virginia

Citrins, Rabbi Set
by Kovler Society
The Kovler Volyner Society
will celebrate the- return of Mr.
and Mrs. Barney Citrin and fam-
ily from Israel where they vis-
ited friends as well as historical
sites, governmental departments
and various institutions.
At the same time it will also
welcome the recent arrival from
Germany of Mr. and Mrs. Leo
Krause, son of the Koveler rabbi
(The Grabivitzer). •
Krause returned from a con-
centration camp to Kovel in 1945
and can give some information
about the remains of Kovel.
For the benefit of the people
who are interested in Kovel and
the surrounding towns, the Kov-
ler Society has arranged a card
party on Sunday at Halevy Music
Center, 13965 Linwood.
The proceeds from this enter-
tainment will be turned over to
Israeli aid.
The Religious School of Beth
Aaron will conclude its year of
studies with the presentation of
a flower shabuot service, to be
held at the synagogue on the
first day of Sunday, June 10 at
10 a.m.
This special ceremony and ex-
ercises will be presented by the
highest class of the Sunday
School.
The ceremony will include spe-
cial prayers, songs, recitations
and a dramatic rendition of the
Ten Commandments . in Hebrew
and in English. The ceremony
will come to a climax with the
blessing from Rabbi Benjamin
Gorrelick, who will direct the
service.
Installation Slated

On Tuesday, June 5, Hadassah's
newly elected officers and board
members of the chapter and
groups will meet at the Franklin
Hills Country Club at 12:30 p.m.
Mrs. Morse Saulson, newly
elected president of the Detroit
Chapter, will be formally in-
stalled.
The now group presidents will
introduce their fund-raising and
honor roll chairmen, and formal-
ly assign them to Mrs. Ben Moss ,
man, chapter vice-president of
fund-raising.

corresponding secretary; Louis
Rubin and Sam Freed, mailing

that this season's last musicale
will be held on Saturday evening
at the auditorium of the Davison
Branch of the Jewish Center.

Adler to Review
Work of Chaplains
Rabbi Morris Adler of Congre-
gation Shaarey Zedek has been
assigned by the Jewish Welfare
Board to survey Jewish chaplain-
cy service in a number of military
installations and veterans' hospi-
tals.
During the week of June 3
Rabbi Adler will visit the Air
Force Base at Columbus, Ohio;
the V. A. Hospital at Chillicothe;
the V. A. Center and Wright-
Patterson Air Force Base and Na-
val Station in Dayton.
He will also visit the V. A.
Hospital in Cincinnati and Fort
Thomas in Kentucky. As a mem-
ber of the Division of Religious
Activities of the National Jewish
Welfare Board, he will submit a
report of his survey to that body.
