City to attend the Bar Mitzvah
of their nephew, Nicholas
Kaufer.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kaufman of liolmur avenue announce the
engagement of their daughter, Ann, to Julius Cutler, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Philip Cutler of Pingree avenue. The wedding is planned for
Nov. 18.

At a recent dinner party, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hecker of West
Outer Drive announced the engagement of their daughter, Diane, to
Pvt. David Miller, soil of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Miller of Buena Vista
avenue. Mr. Miller attended Pennsylvania State College.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Biederman of Monterey avenue an-
nounce the engagement of their daughter, Reena, to Harold Fine, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fine of Elmhurst avenue. Miss Biederman is
on the faculty of the Detroit Conservatory of Music. Mr. Fine is af-
filiated with Mu Beta Chi, Alpha Alumni of Gamma Chapter at
Wayne University. The wedding date has been set for Sept. 23.
