Halevy Concert Program Told David Remez, Israel's
Education Minister, Dies

The program for the 26th an-
nual concert of the Ilalevy Choral
Society will contain 19 popular
selections from Israeli and Yid-
dish classics, besides liturgical
chants, it was announced this
week by L. J. Blume, president
of Helevy.
The concert will be given at
8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Detroit
Art Institute.
Cantor Arele Diamond of New
York, noted tenor, will be the
guest soloist. Don Frohman, who
has been the Halevy conductor
for 18 years, will direct the con-
cert.
William Cayman, one of the
founders of Halevy, is the asso-
