itual leaders, calls upon the
Jews of Detroit to attend Sab-
bath services in their respec-
tive places of worship May 12,
when special prayers of
thanksgiving will be recited.
This newest of holidays mer-
its religious commemoration,
and by the reading of the Hal-
le' and other scriptural pas-
sages, the historic significance
of the day will be emphasized.
In their proclamation, the
rabbis request all Jews to
