(Lillian Frederick) have left for
a wedding trip to New York and
Miami Beach following their
marriage Sunday, April 1.
The couple repeated marriage
vows in a double ring ceremony
at the Congregation Bnai Moshe.
Rabbi M. Lehrman officiated.
The bride's attendants included
Ida Frederick, maid of honor;
Jane Shayne, matron of honor;
Lucille Weindling, Arlene New-
man, Shirley Diamond, Marilyn
Baskin, Muriel Rudack, and
Myrna Frost of Munster, Ind.
Sol Pitt served his brother as
hest man.
Also attending the bridegroom
were Bernard Frederick, brother
of the bride, Jack Randel, Harold
Klau, Izzy Gold, Lou Frederick,
and Sam Randel and from New
York, Morris Pitt, brother of the
groom.
The bride is the daughter of

Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Gold of Chicago, formerly of Detroit,
announce the marriage of their daughter, Jacquoline, to Louis
Foreman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Foreman of Chicago, on April
15 at the Edgewater Beach Hotel.
The bride attended Roosevelt College. Mr. Foreman served
in the Navy during the last war and attended the University of
Illinois. He is a graduate of Roosevelt College.
The couple will reside at 112,. Farwell avenue, Chicago.

Mrs. Harry Jones Honored for Work

To be selected a Red Feather
"Volunteer-of-the-Week" by the
Central Volunteer Bureau of the
Council of Social Agencies, a
person must be an outstanding
volunteer who believes whole-
heartedly in the value of the job
that he is doing.
Mrs. Harry Jones, 18925 Muir-
land, this week's "Volunteer," is
proving every day that she be-
lieves in her jobs as she spends
endless hours at her numerous
positions.
She was formerly head of the
Girl Scouts speakers bureau
and now is chairman of the Girl
Scout finance committee.

She is a member of the board
of the Jewish Community Cen-
ter and a member of the board
of Hadassah. She is also on the
boards of the Jewish Social Ser-
vice Bureau, a Red Feather fain-
ily service and the Fresh Air
Society.
One of her biggest jobs is as
vice-president of the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation's Women's Divi-
sion. She is also a member of
the board of the 12th Street
Council.
Mrs. Jones received her Red
Feather lapel pin during the
Johnny Davis "Coffee and Cakes"
show April 24 over WXYZ-TV.
