MRS. CHARLES D. (FRANCES)
SOLOVICII:
Attorney. Prominent in Bnai
Brith local and district affairs.
Election procedure requires
that each ballot must be cast for
nine of the candidates.
Members of the Federation also
will vote on two amendments.
One proposes to increase the ex-
ecutive committee from 13 to 16
by adding the chairmen of each
of the three budgeting and plan-
ning divisions, and to limit the at-
large members to three one-year
terms.
The second amendment would
increase the board of governors
by adding the past presidents of
the Federation and former chair-
men of the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign for a five-year term, This
amendment would add five mem-
bers to the board immediately,
three for four years—Julian H.
Krolik, Louis Berry and Harvey
II. Goldman—and one for two
years—Maurice Aronsson.
Since all of these are now
members of the board, approval
of the amendment would create
four additional vacancies to be
filled from the community.
Four Federation member agen-
cies—Fresh Air Society, North
End Clinic, Jewish Social Serv-
ice Bureau and Resettlement
Service—also will hold their an-
nual meetings and election of
officers.
Samuel H. Rubiner, Federation
president, will be chairman of the
meeting. Other program features
include an award to the outstand-
ing division of the Federation and
a report on the progress of the
campaign by Abe Kasle, chair-
man.

The Chronicle deadline is on
Tuesday noon.
