Mr. and Mrs. Morris Feldman of San Diego, Cal., announce the
engagement of their daughter, Theodora Jeanne, to Alan Mark
Feinberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. David H. J. Feinberg of Boston boule-
vard. Miss Feldman attends the University of California. Mr. Fein-
berg attends Hebrew Union College at Cincinnati. The wedding is
planned for Aug. 19 in San Diego.



Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kleinberg of Leslie avenue announce the
engagement of their daughter, Elaine Shirley, to Henry Channen,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Channen of Arlington, Mass.

In a candlelight ceremony last Saturday evening at the Book-
Cadillac Hotel, Mrrilyn Elaine Safir, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Maurice M. Safir of Stratford - road, was united in Marriage with
Stanley Gordon Dorfman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dorfman
• of Stoepel avenue. Dr. B. Benedict Glazer officiated.
The bride chose a goWn of gardenia satin trimmed with rose
pointe and illusion. A bertha of rose pointe motifs were appliqued
on the full skirt. Her veil of illusion was held in place by a cap
of rose pointe. She carried white orchids on an antique lace fan.
The bride picked as her matron of honor, Anne Omenke. The
bridesmaids were Paula Clark, • Fayne Myers, Alice Lazar and
Marilyn Stone. .
The best man was Seymour Podolsky and the ushers were
Julius Shapiro,, Myron Handelsman, Barry Safir and Fred Borson.
The couple is on a four week honeymoon trip to Florida and
Cuba.
