At a candlelight ceremony held
Jan. 21 at the Hollenden Hotel,
Cleveland, Joan Blumenthal,
daughter of Mrs. Rae Blumenthal
of Shaker Heights, Ohio, became
the bride of Yale A. Arfa, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Arfa of
Blaine avenue.
Mrs. Sidney Blumenthal was
matron of honor and the brides-
1 maids were Lois Levin of De-
troit and Ruth Carpel of Cleve-
land.
Jerome Aria was his brother's
best man. The ushers were Larry
Blumenthal and Dr. Alvin Au-
gust.
Sandra Jappe, cousin of the
bride, was flower girl. The couple
has returned from an eastern
wedding trip.
