Interfaith Affair

Congregation Beth Aaron will
participate in the nationwide cele-
bration of Brotherhood Week.
with an interfaith meeting which
will take place on Wednesday
evening, at 8:30 p.m. at the syna-
gogue.
This event has been sponsored
and planned by the Men's Club
of Beth Aaron.
The highlight of the program
will be an address by Rev. Joseph
Q. Mayne, the executive-director
of the Detroit Round Table of
Christians and Jews. His subject
will be "Christians and Jews, the
Children of One God—Americans
All."
Included in the program will
be the showing of two colored
films entitled "Boundary Lines"
and "Americans All." Rabbi Ben-
jamin II. Gorrelick will partici-
pate in the program.

Congregation Sets
Scroll Dedication

A 66-year-old Tora scroll will
be rededicated by Congregation
Gemiluth Chassodirn on Saturday.
The scroll was presented to the
synagogue in Schweinsberg, Ger-
many, in 1885. When under the
Hitler regime all Jews had left
the city, the scroll was hidden by
German farmels near Marburg.
When a descendant of the don-
