Hadassah's new gift shop is
temporarily housed in the recrea-
tion room at 3311 Chicago boule-
vard. Hand-made articles for
women, children and the home
will be on sale, the proceeds to
be devoted to Hadassah's health
work in Israel.
The services of women skilled
in sewing, knitting, embroider-
ing, etc., is needed and qualified
workers should telephone Mrs.
Kopel, TY. 4-2810, or the Ha-
dassah office, TY. 8-8216. The
loan of a sewing machine is need-
ed for this enterprise.
Mrs. Bert Smokier, chapter
education chairman, reports that
six Hebrew classes are in session
every Wednesday, from 10 to
11:30 a.m., followed by a Bible
class from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at
the Rose Sittig Cohen Building.

on "What the Jew Prays For" at
