By NATE FEISS
AST WEEK Alan Cantor
chapter of AZA elected of-
ficers for 1951, they are Lennie
Rosenblat, pres.; Bernie Rosen,
veep; Barry Levine and Bruce
Goldsmith, recording secretary
and corresponding secretaries re-
spectively, and Hal Dean is the
new treasurer.
After the election Alan Cantor
played Samuel Gompers in a
basketball game. Gompers came
from behind to win the game.
The final score, Gomp^- ti
Cantor 13.
High scorer for the Gompers
team was Ronnie Ellis with eight
points and for Cantor, Barry
Singer with five. Each team
went wild and shot at the wrong
basket. Smart!

A NEW COMMITTEE was
formed by the AZA council to
map out routes for paper drives
and assist chapters in planning
them.
It seems that during the past
few weeks paper drives are the
thing, so if you want to know
what streets have been taken and
what streets are left, contact Len-
nie Rachmiel at TO. 8-7582 or call
the BBYO office.
Don't forget the 'Flapper
Frolic" this coming Wednesday
Jan. 24. Tickets are still $1.50 so
get your gal and buy your tickets
at the door of the Parkside Hall,
Fenkell at Parkside.

SAMUEL GOMPERS chaplet
is planning an Oneg Shabbat to
be held Friday night, Jan. 26 at
the Bnai Moshe, Dexter at Law-
rence.
It is open to all who want to
attend. The services will be con-
ducted by the alephs in the chap-
ter. Refreshments will be served.
Will you be there?
Larry Stockier of the Larry'
Hirsch Chapter of I3BYM in-
forms me that the draft haik,
caught a number of their boys,
causing that chapter to be at a
standstill. Expect big things from
BBYM in the near future.

JOE STONE, adviser to .the
Seymour Sobole Chapter is now
on his way to advise the U. S.
Navy. Yes, Joe has been called
by the reserves; so long Joe, give
my regards to Arthur Godfrey.
The date of March 10 has been
cleared as the day for the big
BBG fund-raising affair. More
about that later.
My phone number is still UN.
