In a ceremony held Dec. 24 at the Lee Plaza Hotel, Esther
Landau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Landau of Broadstreet
boulevard, was united in marriage with Harry Shapiro, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Shapiro of San Juan drive. Rabbi Jacob E.
Segal officiated
The bride tiiiirsiown of white satin with a Juliet cap em-
broidered with seed pehrls. She wore a fingertip veil of scalloped
illusion net and carried white orchids on a Bible.
Anna Miriam Hersh served as matron of honor and Lila Weiss
was maid of honor. Marilyn Cherrin was junior bridesmaid. Alan
Sosin was best man and the ushers were Jerry Landau, Marvin
Rosen, Jerry Manchel. Alan Leiderman and Buddy Cohen. The
bride's brother, Joseph Landau, was junior usher.
Out-of-town guests included Mr, and Mrs. Robert Hyman,
Mrs. Shirley Naidich, Mrs. Julia Bleend and Mrs. Joe Naidich all of
New York; Nathan Shapiro of Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. Morris
Wasserman, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Glieberman, Norine Glieberman
and Leonard Wasserman, all of Chicago.
Following a honeymoon in Florida, the couple will reside em
