They are delicious with sour cream, apple sauce or jelly. POTATO LATKES 6 medium sized potatoes 3 eggs 1 teaspoon baking powder 3 tablespoons Hour about 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs 1 teaspoon of salt pinch of pepper 1 small onion Grate potatoes on fine side of grater. Grate onion. Add all in- gredients to potatoes and mix well. Add fat to frying pan and heat. Then add a drop of the mixture k!:-- to pan to make sure the oil is hot enough. Drop tablespoon of mix- ture into hot fat and turn to brown on both sides.
