Mrs. Madeline Kart of Los An-
geles announces the marriage of
her daughter, Elizabeth Sarah, to
J. Lee Kavanau, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Samuel L. Kavanau of Los
Angeles, formerly of Detroit.
The bride will graduate from
the University of California in
June. Mr. Kavanau is a University
of Michigan graduate and is en-
gaged in research at the Univer-
sity of California.

engagement of their daughter, Goldie, to Harry Kovitz, son of Mrs.
