Young Judaea and Senior Ju-
daea are combining their efforts
and talents in presenting their
own Maccabiad. The event will
take place at 1:30 p.m., Sunday at
the Woodward Jewish Commun-
ity Center.
Included on the program will
be a series of competitive ath-
letic events such as swimming,
basketball, and relays.
Following this, a play "The
Hanukkah Miracle" will be pre-
sented. A special candle lighting
ceremony "The Light Bringers"
will feature the lighting of the
first candle.
The program will be completed
with singing, dancing, movies and
refreshments.
Senior Judaea will begin its
Hanukkah festivities at 8 p.m.,
Saturday, at the Hotel Belcrest.
They are sponsoring a dance for
Senior Judaea members and their
guests.

The Cantors Association of De-
troit will present its annual con-
cert on March 28 at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek.
The concert will be conducted
by Dan Frohman, choirmaster at
