Plans Pre-Donor
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Gordon of
Appoline avenue had as their
guests Mrs. Gordon's sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dan
Siegel (Rose Stone) and sons of
St. Louis, Mo.
In connection with the Sholem
Aleichem Folk Institute donor
luncheon program Dec. 13 at Ma-
sonic Temple, a desert luncheon
musical will be held by Mrs.
Harry Bright, 4071 Glendale, at
1 p.m. Saturday.
The featured artist will be 10-
year-old Jerry Rosen, violinist,
winner of a scholarship and a
student of the Music Study Club.
He will be accompanied at the
piano by Esther Krops. Vocal
numbers will be contributed by a
Detroit soloist.
The next pre-donor function
will be a brunch at the home of
Mrs. Nathan Weinstein, 18441
Monica, on Nov. 15.
K. B. Juniors to Hold
Hay-Seed Frolic Affair
The newly organized K. B. Jun-
iors will hold their first event of
the winter season, the hay-seed
frolic, on Sunday at Grainer's, 11
Mile at Inkster road.
Old Time dances will be the
order of the evening, with door
prizes, souvenirs and special en-
tertainment.
The K. B. Juniors are the "off-
springs" of the Keshenever Bes-
sarabier Aid Society of which
Louis Bassin is president.
Leo Kaplan, chairman of the
frolic, reports that proceeds of the
event will be used for an aid to
Israel project.

Donor Affair Set
by Prenzlauer Aid
The Eva Prenzlauer Maternity
Aid will hold their donor dinner
Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Four
Dukes. This is the annual fund-
raising affair.
The organization seeks to get
money to carry on its work which
consists of giving pre-natal care
and hospitalization at the time
of confinement to needy mothers.
Mrs. Sidney Cohen is chairman
of the donor, and assisting her
will be Mrs. Herman Lutchansky,
as co-chairman. Mrs. Nathan
Blatnikoff has charge of the donor
book; Mrs. Harry Sanders, darl-
ing ads; and Mrs. Milton Green-

Wednesday, Nov. 15 to address
the Northeast Chapter of the De-
troit Women's Division of the
Congress.
The meeting will be held at

a luncheon.
The Louise Waterman Wise
Youth Center is to be used for
learning and exploration by chil-
dren from Israel's Kibbutzim as
well as children from Europe.
This date corresponds with the
date of ground breaking cere-
monies which will take place in
Israel.
