Hostesses are forever looking for interesting desserts for lunch-
eons or dinners. Mrs. Max Goldhoff of Webb avenue offers her
cherry pie recipe, as a very inviting dessert.
CHERRY PIE
Filling:
1 No. 2 can of hour cherries
1 cup sugars
2 tablespoons of melted butter
2 tablespoons of Tapioca
Mix cherries, juice, butter, tapioca and let set for 20 minutes.

11/2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
3 tablespoons cold water
Sift flour and salt. Cut shortening into 11/4 cups of flour. Mix
remaining flour with the water and add to the blended flour and
shortening. Line a nine-inch pie pan with pastry. Fill with cherry
mixture. Cover with top crust, slit to allow steam to escape. Bake
in 425-degree even for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees
for 20 minutes.

`Meet Ladies' Radio Show

Israel will present Bill Silbert's
"Meet the Ladies" radio show at
a dessert luncheon and rally at
12:30 p.m., Monday in the Youth
Center. The program will be
rebroadcast over Station WXYZ
during the week.
