Marilyn Wolfe. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wolfe of
Pasadena avenue, and granddaughter of J. Bernstein of the Jewish
Daily Forward, was united in marriage with Frederick Allen Cher-
ney, sun of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cherney of Glendale avenue. The
wedding ceremony took place under a bower of fresh flowers, with
Rabbi Morris Adler officiating.
The bride were a gown of candlelight satin, trimmed with the
Alencon lace from her mother's wedding dress. The gown had a
high neckline with peter pah collar of lace and pearls. Reveres of
the same trimming extended diagonally from shoulder to hip, and
folds of lace and pearls adorned the apron effect in front.
Holding her veil of illusion was a turban of satin, entwined
with the same lace and pearls as were on the gown. The bride car-
ried an arrangement of calla lilies and white orchids.
Mrs. Sheldon Kaplan was matron of honor, and Debby Charnes
was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Loretta Gallison, Lenore
Feldstein, Rhonda Harris and Betty Morin.
Dr. Arthur Cherney was his brother's best man, and ushering
the guests to their seats were Alvan Wolfe, Sol Berg, Douglas Har-
ris, Jerome Glassman, Neil Shechter, Larry Stevens, and Morris
Alpert.
After their return from Miami Beach, Florida, the couple will
reside on Chicago boulevard.
