MOM'S CARROT CAKE 1 u2 teaspoons baking powder 2 eggs 2 cups of flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon pinch baking soda 1 cup grated carrots teaspoon vinegar 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 7$ cup grated walnuts 1 :t orange rind grated cup Mazola Mix pinch of baking soda into ! ,' 4 , teaspoon vinegar, add two eggs well beaten, cinnamon, car rots, sugar, walnuts, oil, vanilla and orange rind. Sift two cups of flour and baking soda, add to above mixture. Use a square six-inch baking dish line with brown paper or grease very lightly. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes, lower to 325 degrees for approximately 35 to 40 minutes longer. If you do not want to frost cake, put lace paper doily over the I cake, sprinkle with powdered sugar, while cake is slightly warm.
