Clements avenue announced the engagement of their daughter Ros-
lind, to David Horowitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry IL Horowitz, of
Normandy avenue. The wedding has been set for Sept. 24 on Miss
Kaufman's birthday.
At a candlelight ceremony at the Book Cadillac Hotel on March
26, Marilyn B. Kaufman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Kaufman,
became the bride of Lawrence Weintraub. Rabbi Morris Adler offi-
ciated.
The bride chose a satin gown with a sweetheart neckline and
circular train. Her fingertip illusion veil was held in place by a
hand-beaded satin coronation crown. She carried white orchids and
lilies-of-the-valley on a white Bible.
Rosalind Kaufman was her twin sister's maid-of-honor and
Mrs. Rochelle Turovitz of Chicago was matron-of-honor. Ruth Wein-
traub, Geraldine Bershas, Marcia Turovitz, Alice Kasem and Doreen
Bershas were the bridesmaids.
The bridegroom asked his brother, Jackie, to be his best man.
' The ushers were Leon Goldfarb, Marvin Bershas, Bernard Kauf-
man, Cecil Malach and Arnold Turovitz. Junior usher was Ronald
Fruitman and Lester Turovitz was ring bearer.
Following a. Miami Beach honeymoon, the couple are residing
