Britain Endorses
Israel Proposal
on Jerusalem

LAKE SUCCESS—(Special)—Israel's proposal to inter-
nationalize the holy sites in Jerusalem without setting up an
international control for the whole Jerusalem area was en-

Council.

John Fletcher-Cook, the dele-
gate, said the plan was a "practi-
cal approach."
Britain thus joined the United
States and France which earlier
had endorsed the Israeli plan.
