MRS. STANFORD M. LEVIN
• • •
The marriage of Barbara Jeanne Wallace, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Sidney Wallace, of Canterbury drive, and Stanford Marvin
Levin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernhardt Levin of Santa Rosa drive, was
solemnized May 4 at the Hotel Statler.
It was an all pink wedding. A delicate shell pink background of
satin and green smilax, set off with pale pink flowers in tall vases, tall
standards of pink tapers, made a lovely contrast to the bride's gown
of white imported Chantilly lace over satin.
It was distinguished by a deep portrait neckline with a low
appliqued edge, and long fitted sleeves.
The very full skirt which was worn over a hoop swept into a
cathedral train. Her fingertip - veil of silk illusion was held in place
by a snug cap of lace.
The bride carried snowwhite roses with stephanotis and was
escorted to the altar by her father.
Barbara chose as her attendants, her sister, Mrs. Stanley Jay
Winkelman, matron-of-honor, the groom's sister, Lois Levin, maid-
of-honor, and Andra Wallace Winkelman, her niece, was flower girl
The bridegroom was attended by his cousin, Marvin Rollins, as bes
man. The ushers were Melvin, Wallace, Richard Love and Irwin
Niman.
