Greece Practically
Without Jews
ATHENS—(WNS)—Of the ap-
proximately 75,000 Jews who
lived in Greece on the eve of the
Italian and, later, the German
occupation only 10,000 were left
in the country and most of those
have either left or are on the
way to leaving for Israel.
The story how of Greece is
rapidly becoming a country with-
out Jews is related in the "Black
Book," just published by the
Jewish community of this city,
describing the tragedy of Greek
Jewry.
