was elected to the executive com-
mittee of the Metropolitan De-
troit Region of the Michigan
Commission on Americanism.
The Commission, sponsored by
Gov. G. Mennen Williams, has
as its purpose "the encouraging
and support of Americanism pro-
grams, carried on by various
groups in the community; to
awaken an understanding and
appreciation of the basic rights
of an individual and his or her
responsibilities as an American."

Social-Lites Schedule
Anniversary Dance

The Center Social-Lites will
hold an anniversary dance on
Sunday evening, April 16 at the
Center.
Persons between the ages of
25 and 40 who wish to join may
obtain applications forms at the
Center desk or at the dance. Pro-
