iliary and Post will hold a joint
installation of officers at 9:15
p.m., Thursday, April 13, at the
Memorial Home. Erwin Kepes
will serve as new commander
and Gertrude Hertzberg will
preside over the auxiliary. The
remainder of the post staff to be
installed are Henry Hertzber,
Herman Schwartz, Murray Weiss,
Joseph Bale. Nat Goldstone,
Murray Koorhan, Al Fegenson
and Julius Genser. Officers of the
auxiliary that will be installed
include Betty Litt, Mildred Zer-
kel, Dolly Bale, Evelyn Starman,
Mildred Baseman, Carol Shuman
Burke, Miriam Cantor, Ida Roth-
man and Ruth Siegan. Val Tica,
interpreter of Balinese dances
will perform. A dairy smorgas-

Workmen's Circle to Bestow
Awards on Men of 3 Faiths

Bnai Moshe to Mark
Israel's Anniversary

Congregation Bnal Moshe will
celebrate the second anniversary
of the birth of Israel at the Sab-
bath morning services on April

22.

The services will be enhanced
by appropriate readings and a
special choir which will assist
Cantor David Katzman. Rabbi
Moses Lehrman will officiate and
deliver the sermon.
A kiddush will be served by a
group of members in the social
hall following the service.

Levin' Re-elected Siymn Hasefer Set
by Agudath Israel by Young Israel

At a meeting of the Agudath
Israel, on April 4, Rabbi Leizer
Levin, was re-elected president
of the Agudath Israel of Detroit.
Elected with him were; Rabbi
Isaac Paneth, Melach Lifshitz,
Jack Isbee, vice president; Mor-
ris Horowitz, recording secretary;
Benjamin Aronson, financial sec-
retary; Irving Sarnoff, treasurer,
and Joseph Borenstein, chairman
of executive board.

The Department of Michigan
has requested the Memorial
Hall commission to secure the
names of all Jewish yen and
Women who lost their lives dur-
ing the time was of the Span-
ish-American, World War I and
World War II. Tablets containing
the names of all the War Dead
are in process of being made
and will adorn the walls of the
new Memorial Hall at the water-
