to Hold Banquet

Greetings

The Ladies of Yeshiva Beth
Yehuda will hold their 23rd an-
nual banquet at 7 p.m. Sunday
April 16, at Lachars on Dexter
boulevard.
David J. Cohen will be toast-
master and Cantor Hyman J. Ad-
ler will sing. The Beth Jacob
School for Girls will give a skit.
Proceeds will go for the Beth
Jacob School which the group
sponsors.

Shown above are antique Torah ornaments recently acquired by
Temple Lsrael. In the center is a Torah crown done in Padua
about 1860. It is covered with symbolic inscriptions and designs.
On either side is a pair of gilded silver Finials (ltimonim) also
done id Padua about the same date. It is in the form of a three
tiered steeple crested by flower filled urns.
