At a candlelight ceremony Feb. 5 at Shaarey Zedek, Roberta
Levitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Levitt, of Cortland avenue,
and Marvin M. Schare, son of Mrs. Sarah Schare of New York, were
united in marriage.
The bride's gown of white satin was trimmed with seed pearls.
Her fingertip illusion veil was held in place by a satin crown which
matched her gown. She carried a white Bible adorned with orchids.
Mrs. Philip Elkus, the bride's cousin, was matron-of-honor
and Mildred Levitt attended her sister as maid-of-honor.
Erma Levitt, another sister of the bride, Betty Akus and Helen
Robinson were bridesmaids.
Sidney Schare served his brother as best man. Moe Kerns, Hy
Kravitz, Ronald Selbst and David Rothberg. of Bay City, ushered.
The couple is residing on Tyler avenue following a New York
honeymoon.
