Plans 'Fling'

"Country Fling," a coed affair
featuring square dancing, com-
munity singing and a barber shop
quartet, will be given by the
Career Group of the National
Council of Jewish Women at 8:30
p.m., Wednesday, March 29, at
the Jewish Community Center.
Bill and George Margolin, Joe
Katz and Clarence Sharf will
blend their voices in the barber
shop harmony.
During the program, Stella
Brown, chairman of the evening.
will present a $100 contribution
to the 12th Street Center. The
donation is part of the funds
raised by the members of the
Career Group.
To complete the fund-raising
program for the season, members
and guests are asked to bring a
bundle of old clothes or donate
75 cents admission to the affair.
Prizes will be awarded for the
"Loudest Shirt," the ''Gayest
Skirt," and the "Cutest Guy and
Gal in Blue Jeans."
Young men and women of the
community may attend. Girls
must be members of the Career
Group, and dues will be accepted
at the door.

At a ceremony Feb. 12 at Shaarey Zedek, Lillian Leiderman,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boruch Leiderman of Monterey avenue,
and Milton G. Aichenbaum, son of the Jacob Aichenbaums of Ful-
lerton avenue, were united in marriage.
Ivory satin and French chantilly lace fashioned the bridal cos-
tume. Her French illusion veil was held in place by a crown of
matching lace, and the veil was trimmed with orange blossoms. She
carried a cascade of roses and orchids.
Ilene Berke served the bride as maid-of-honor, and Mrs. Dore
Novitz, sister of the bridegroom, acted as matron-of-honor. The
bridesmaids were Shirley Mogul and Helen Babbush, and Susan
Novitz was junior bridesmaid. Diane Yogada and Laurie Lipson

The ceremony uniting in mar-
riage Beverly Levine, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Levine
of Mt. Clemens, and Sander Less-
man, son of the Jake Lessmans of
Chicago, was read Feb. 25 at the
Book Cadillac Hotel.
The bride wore an off-white
satin gown trimmed with seed
pearls. Her fingertip illusion
veil fell from a crown of seed
pearls, and she carried a bouquet
of white gladiola and orchids.
Mrs. Florence Levine, the
bride's sister-in-law, was matron-
of-honor, and Arlene Ross, Selma
King and Mrs. Joseph Lessman
were bridesmaids. The junior
bridesmaids were Nicki Lozel,
Adina Rubin and Shirley Free-
man.
Joseph Lessman acted as best
man for his brother, and Sidney
Melder, Norman Levine and
Buddy Lozel ushered. Sheldon
Levine was ring bearer.
The couple will live in Chicago
upon returning from their wed-
ding trip.
