speak on "The Woman in Jewish
Culture" at a meeting of the Sho-
lem Aleichem Institute, women's
division, at 1 p.m. Saturday at the
home of Mrs. Morris Friedman,

officers will also be held.

The American Haven Club has
sent the orphans of the Pioneer
Home Club in Israel a large re-
frigerator. The group plans a
mother-daughter banquet May 17.

Plans are under way for Jr.
Hadassah's annual Birthday Ball
which will celebrate the found-
ing of the Jewish state in Israel.
The dance, under the direction
of Louie Cohen, will be held at
the Book Cadillac Hotel April 22.
The winner of Jr. Hadassah's
