Consumer Unit Plans Meeting

League Fetes Mrs. Wright
A farewell silver tea honoring
Mrs. Beatrice Wright to benefit
the March of Dimes was given
last Friday by the League of
Jewish Women's Organizations.
The event was held at the
home of Mrs. Samuel B. Danto
on Chicago boulevard.
Mrs Wright, who has been as-
sistant administrator of the
Wayne County Chapter of the
National Foundation for Infan-
tile Paralysis, has accepted a
position as assistant director of
women's affairs at the Founda-
tion's headquarters in New
York
Mrs Sol Bloom directed ar-
rangements for the tea, which
was attended by some 50 presi-
dents of local Jewish women's
clubs with whom Mrs Wright
has been associated in her work.
The League's president, Mr.
Harry Becker, acted as hostess
for the group.
