Betrothal Revealed

Plans Spring Wedding

A double ring ceremony Dec.
20 at the Bel Arie Terrace united
Caryl Phyllis Klein and David
L. Shapiro in marriage.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Klein of
San Juan avenue are parents of
the bride. The Max Shapiros of
Cherrylawn avenue are parents
of the bridegroom.
An ivory satin gown fashioned
with a sculptured bodice and long
train was chosen by the new
Mrs. Shapirofor her bridal at-
tire. Her illusion veil was held in
place by a juliet cap of alencon
lace and orange blossoms. She
carried white orchids and lilies
of the valley on a Bible.
Mrs. David Jay was matron-
of-honor for her sister-in-law.
Harriett Shapiro, Bernice Trab-
man and Mrs. Richard Liss were
bridesmaids.
The bridegroom's brother-in-
law, David Jay, was best man.
Joel Klein, Phil Silverstein and
Richard Liss ushered.
Following a New York honey-
moon, the couple is living on
Chicago bohlevard.

en Alpert and Norman Naimark.
Miss Alpert is the daughter of

The bride-elect is a graduate
of the University of Michigan.
She was formerly director of the
