THIS AD SPONSORED BY JEWISH 'FRIENDS
OF ALBERT F. COBO

At a meeting of the executive board of the Women's League of
Tel Guiborim, Oct. 24, the following 'resolution was adopted:

Whereas the Women's League of Tel Guiborim was organized to immortalize
the names of the heroes who gave their lives in the cause of Jewish liberation.

Whereas these heroes faced the British executioner with ■ deep conviction that
a Jewish state would spring up from their graves and the of thousands of other
martyrs.

Whereas this organization has accomplished one phase of its mission in the
establishment of the colony of Tel Guiborim, Heroes' Hill.

Whereas we are determined that the work for Israel shall continue with in-
creasing tempo, as part of the National Labor Movement in Israel.

Now, therefore, Be It resolved that this organization shall be known hence-
forth as the National Women's League for Israel, and

Be It further resolved that it shall pursue its wor k in the social, medical and
child welfare spheres of the National Movement, and

Be 11 further resolved that we extend our deep gratitude to all our members
and friends for the help they have given us ai the past and we invite them to labor
with us in the future for our new plans, and

Be It further resolved that a date for election of officers be set forthwith. and

Be It further resolved that we thank the Detroit Jewish Chronicle foe the
generous publicly accorded us in the past, and solicit the continued cooperation of
this publication and that this resolution be given space in its valued oolum ► s.
