Margery Brown Weds
Marvin Betnun of Utah

In Evening Ceremony

Margery Joan Brown and
Marvin Joel Betnun, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Betnun of Salt
Lake City, were united in mar-
riage at the home of the bride's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip F.
Brown of Santa Barbara drive, at
a candlelight ceremony perform-
ed Sunday Oct. 23, by Rabbi B.
Benedict Glazer.
In a bouffant off-shoulder wed-
ding gown, and wearing finger-
tip veil of illusion fashioned with
a wreath of orange blossoms that
had been worn by her mother on
her wedding day, the bride car-
ried the family Bible of white,
adorned with white orchids.
Margery was attended by her
sisters, Mrs. Harvey S. Freeman
and Carol Jean Brown. Harvey
S. Freeman served as best man,
with Howard Freeman and Ju-
ban Scott acting as ushers.
After a family reception and
dinner, the bridal couple left
on an extended trip east and
south. After Nov. 15 they will be
at home in Los Angeles.

Louise Sternberg daughter of
Mts. Celia Sternberg exchanged
marriage vows with Donald Ber-
nard Zeidman, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Augustus Zeidman. Rabbi
Joshua Sperka officiated.
The gown worn by the bride
was of white satin trimmed in
French chantilly lace with a full
skirt and train. Her headpiece
was sweetheart-shaped, also of
French chantilly lace with a
fingertip veil. The bride carried a
large white orchid on a bible
trimmed with flowing ribbons.
The maid of honor was the
bride's cousin, Rita Berry, and
the groom's brother Leonard
Zeidman was best man.
The newlyweds spent their
honeymoon at Niagara Falls.
The groom is resuming his
studies at Wayne University.

Spending the week end in Chi-
cago are Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lev-
ine of Lauder avenue.

Back from White Sulphur
Springs, W.V. are Dr. and Mrs.
Harry B. Bennett and Mr. and
Mrs. Edward E. Saperston.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Moran of
Northlawn avenue spent the past
week end in Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Amberg
have moved to Greenville, N.C.

Returned from a month's stay in
Los Angeles are Mr. and Mrs.
George Glaser of Lawton avenue.

Back from a trip to New York
is Mrs. Milton Marx.

Mrs. Benjamin Goldenberg of
Sturtevant avenue.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Doner
have returned from a weekend in
Cleveland.

Making their home in Cincin-
nati are Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Mandell of Tulle avenue (the
former Gertrude Wartell).

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wald and
daughter Dianne have moved
from Richton avenue to their new
home on Cherrylawn avenue.

At an evening ceremony at Shaarey Zedek, Dorothy Clayman,
laughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Clayman, became the bride of
Jack Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Green.
Rabbi Morris Adler officiated. Mrs. Philip Elkus, sister of the
groom, was matron-of-honor, and Roslyn Clayman was her sister's
maid-of-honor.
Dr. Charles Clayman, brother of the bride, served as best man.
Upon their return from a southern honeymoon, the couple will
reside on Dumbarton road.

from Atlantic City where he at-
tended the Bar Mitzvah of his
grandson, David Greenfield.

Visiting in Dansville, N. Y., are

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Loeb of
Chicago spent the week-end in
Detroit and attended the Michi-
gan- Minnesota game.

are home from a vacation in Sul-
