NEW YORK—(Special)—Daniel
Frisch, president of the Zionist
Organization of America, stres-
sing the furtherance of Hebrew
as a link between Israel and the
Jews of America, predicted a pil-
grimage of hundreds of thousands
' of Jews to Israel from all corners
i of the globe, "all ready to enter
into communion with the soul of
Israel through their close famili-
arity with the Hebrew language
and the great cultural values of
Hebrew literature."
Addressing the first meeting of
the national commission on cul-
ture and education of the ZOA,
Frisch flayed "the tired and timid
in our midst" who "have seen in
the rise of the Jewish State a
long-awaited opportunity to wind
up their accounts with the Jewish
people."
ADVICE TO EDUCATORS

Frisch warned against under-
estimating the terrific impact
which the rise of the Jewish State
has made on the consciousness of
American Jewry..
HEBREW PARAMOUNT
"If we can bring home to the
Jews of Amerca the fact that
their best way of devoting and
maintaining intimate contact with
Israel is through the knowledge
of Hebrew, we shall make great
strides toward our set goal," he
said.
He called upon the educators
to give serious consideration to
the feasibility of establishing
throughout this land, wherever
possible, a chain of Hebrew day
schools which though borrowing
ing some of the best features of
the parochial schools and Ye-
shivahs would still be different
and more suited to the varying
needs of the Jewish community.
