Pisgah Lodge

The largest and most successful
Bnai Brith Institute held in the
history of the Greater Detroit
B. B. Council was conducted at
the Tuller Hotel. Over 200 lodge
presidents, secretaries and com-
mittee chairmen attended.
Ben Z. Glass, executive secre-
tary of District Grand Lodge 6,
addressed the luncheon gathering,
and congratulated the local coun-
cil administration upon its excel-
lent start for the 1949-50 season.

Gratz Auxiliary

The auxiliary will hold its first
cultural meeting at 8 p.m., Tues-
day, room 217, Central High
School. The annual fund raising
affair will be discussed and Char-
lotte Fox will give a demonstra-
tion on nylon products.

Gov. G. Mennen Williams will
address a testimonial meeting
honoring Samuel W. Leib on his
elevation to presidency of District
Grand Lodge 34, at 8:30 p.m.,
`Monday, at the Northwest He-
brew Congregation. Also slated
are Mayor Eugene I. Van Ant-
werp and Council President
George Edwards.

Monday evenings at the Bowl-O-
Drome.
