man was a graduate of the Uni-
versity of Poland and studied
under the famous Reb Chaim
Heller. He practiced law in Ger-
many and witnessed the rise of
the Nazis. He achieved some
prominence when he unsuccess-
fully sued Julius Streicher, the
Nazi race baiter, for libel.
