Betty Lucille Bosniak, daugh-
ter of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Jacob
Bosniak of the Ocean Parkway
Jewish Center, Brooklyn, was
married Aug. 7 to Dr. Lewis Coh-
en, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Cohen of Columbus, 0. in the
Ocean Parkway Jewish Center.
Mrs. Robert J. Rosenzweig, sis-
ler of the West Flatbush Jewish
Center, officiated at the cere-
mony, assisted by Rabbi Nathan
Zelizer of Temple Tifereth Israel,
Columbus, and by the father of
the bride.
The couple will make their
home in Detroit.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schweit-
zer and their daughters of North-
lawn avenue are spending the
summer at their lodge at East
I-was, Mich. The Robert ZefTs
are guests of the Schweitzers for
the month of August.

At an afternoon ceremony, Aug. 7, Rita Canvasser became the
bride of Jerome Keywell at the }lame of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Morris Canvasser of Glendale avenue.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keywell of

Fairfield avenue.
Rabbi Morris Adler and Cantor Jacob Sonenklar officiated.
The bride chose an iced blue gown, trimmed with seed pearls.
A three-quarter length veil of blue was held in place by a cap of
heirloom lace. She carried pink roses with a white orchid.
Mrs. Betty Mahler was her sister's matron of honor.
• . Phil Levant served his brother-in-law as best man.
Following a month in Bermuda, the couple will reside on Wilde-

mere avenue.

From Midwestern Trip

Mrs. Albert Bernstein of Boston
boulevard west returned from
Europe where she spent several
weeks with her daughter, Miriam,
touring France, England and
Switzerland.
Miriam. a senior at the Uni-
versity of Michigan, sailed from
Cherbourg, France, on the Queen
Elizabeth on Aug. 13. She spent
her junior year with the Smith
College group at Sorbonne in
Paris, and the Institute for Inter-
national Studies at the University
of Geneva.

Mr. and Mrs. Abe A. Schmier of
Sherbourne road, accompanied by
their daughter Celia, have re-
turned from an extended motor
trip through Illinois, Wisconsin
and northern Michigan. While in
Wisconsin, they visited their
daughters Carol and Marilyn at
Camp Sandstone.
