Resa Max Speaks Vows
in Candlelight Rites

to Pennsylvania Girl
for the summer months are Mrs.

Lillian Ruth Wald, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Wald of Pitts-
burgh, was married to Howard
Malcolm Kahn, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Kahn of West Grand
Boulevard, at a formal garden
ceremony at the home of the
bride, June 26.
Mrs. David Spiegel, sister of
the bride, was matron of honor.
The groom was attended by his
brother Ellis.
Out-of-town guests included
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kahn, Mrs.
S. Saficr, and Mr. and Mrs. Mor-
ris Goodman of Detroit.
After a honeymoon trip to New
York and the east, the couple will
reside in Detroit.

At a candlelight ceremony,
June 18, at Bnai David, Resa Max
.ind Seymour Brenner, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Morris Brenner, were
united in marriage. The bride is
the (laughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abe
Max.
The bride's gown was of chan-
tilly lace and she wore a finger-
tip veil. Her Bible was adorned
with two white orchids and or-
ange blossoms.
Lois Max, sister of the bride,
was maid of honor. The brides-
maids were Marilyn Berk,'Adele
Rycus and Marlene Newman.
Elaine Brenner and Donna LeVy,
of Toronto, were flower girls.
Meyer Brenner, brother of the
bridegroom, was best man and
Dr. Robert Feldman, Robert Ellis
and Merrill Max, brother of the
bridt., were ushers. Stewart New-
man was ring bearer.
The couple spent their honey-
moon motoring through Canada,
with a stop of several days in
New York. They are residing at
2900 Clairmount avenue.

June Brezner of Cortland ave-
nue is attending the summer ses-
sions at Columbia University.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherwin David-
son returned this week from
Philadelphia.

Mr and Mrs. Philip Van Zile
will be guests of the Leo M. But-
zels at Charlevoix.
