Resa Max Honored
at Pre-Nuptial Events
Fiancee of Detroiter
Resa Max was feted at a mis-
cellaneous shower given by Mari-
lyn Berk, Jean Starr and Joyce
Rudin; a pantry shower by Mrs.
Abe Ifeller; and a miscellaneous
shower by Mesdames Sy Fein-
berg and Harry Wachs at Knoll-
wood country club.
Mr. and Mrs. Isadore E. Goodman of Sherbourne road announce
the engagement of their sister, Esther Goodman, to Harry Kolctsky
of New Haven, Conn. The wedding will be an event of July 3.
The engagement is revealed of Carol Elaine Shuman, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Shuman of:Burlingame avenue, to Louis
Burke of Calvert avenue. An October wedding is planned.

will spend 10 days in Charlevoix
beginning July 1.

announced the engagement of their daughter Florence to Sam Varon
of Lo. - Angeles. The wedding will take place in September.

engagement of their daughter Bryna Lilyan to Robert Frank, son
