Metropolitan
Picks Gleicher

Morris Gleicher has been re-
elected president of the Metro-
politan Chapter, American Jew-
ish Congress.
Installation of officers for the
coming year will be featured at
the next meeting of the chapter,
Wednesday, June 15, at the Rose
Sittig Cohen auditorium. Other
officers are:
Vice-presidents, Mrs. Helen
Altman; Mrs. Shirley Korman;
Mrs. Esther Lichtenstein; Miss
Eve Neidelman; and Hyman
Parker; secretaries, Mrs. Naomi
Granoff and Eugene Franzblau;
treasurer, Samuel Lichtenstein,
and executive board, Isadore

The new and retiring boards
of the Women's Division of the
American Jewish Congress will
be hcmored at a luncheon Tues-
day a( Rotunda Inn, Pine Lake.
Mrs. Harry Frank, newly-
elected president of the division,
has announced the appointment
of the following as division chair-
men: Mesdames Julius Stross,
Irving Dworman, Arnold Frank,
Sam Herman, Geral& Goldberg
and Philip Frank. 11

stock, Seldon Koblin, Shay Fore-
men. Max Saidman, Samuel
Blondy and Frank Bernstein.
"The Legend of Louise" by
James Waterman Wise, a moving
story of the life of Mrs. Stephen
S. Wise, may be obtained by call-
ing Mrs. Arnold Frank, UN.
2-1369. Proceeds from the sale
support the Louise Waterman
Wise Youth Hostel, the first such
hostel to be established in Israel.
